Position Summary

Creature is on the lookout for a Traveling Superintendent to oversee healthcare construction initiatives in collaboration with BLOX. BLOX is tasked with delivering prefabricated building modules to specified locations, while Creature will handle the site preparation before integrating the modules to form hospitals, medical clinics, and other healthcare facilities. The superintendent at Creature is proactive and assumes complete responsibility for all trades on-site, including mechanical, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and more.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all construction operations on-site from inception to completion.
  • Maintain daily communication with project managers for each assignment.
  • Facilitate daily work coordination through weekly meetings and team huddles.
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to plan the project schedule from start to finish.
  • Ensure timely project completion within budget constraints.
  • This role requires travel and will primarily operate out of the Southeastern region.

Qualifications

  • 5-10+ years of experience in construction project management.
  • Demonstrated career advancement in the field.
  • Experience with ground-up construction projects.
  • Preferred experience with ICRA training and construction.
  • General Contractor experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Teams and Slack is advantageous.
