**Entertainment and Diplomatic Sales Manager**

**Position:** Entertainment and Diplomatic Sales Manager (Full time #527895 )

**Property / Office:** Mandarin Oriental, New York

**Location:** New York, NY, United States

**Duties and Responsibilities**

* Attend selected trade and travel functions, i.e. trade shows, to promote sales and image for the hotel

* Plan and where appropriate, execute sales trips to major market areas and report new potential market areas that should be covered

* Maintain close relationships with all key decision-makers both in local and international markets

* Organize and accompany familiarization site inspection trips with top accounts

* Regularly visit accounts and entertain clients at the hotel

* Maintain a high level of exposure for the hotel through direct sales solicitation, telephone and written communications

* Ensure up-to-date account information in Salesforce

* Work closely with the MOHG Regional Sales Offices

* Provide feedback and market information to Director of Sales changing market conditions, including trends on the competition, as a result of direct sales solicitation, telephone, reading material and interaction with competitive hotel staff

* Attend weekly Revenue, Sales and & GRC meetings
