Job Summary

The Integrated Media Buyer is responsible for buying execution, optimization, and reporting phases of media-client deliverables. This person plays a role in bringing to life multimedia, fully integrated strategies for potential and existing clients. Efforts include understanding strategic media direction, providing tactical recommendations, setting achievable goals based on client objectives, monitoring campaigns for success and generating results reports. The Integrated Media Buyer builds and buys media plans, constructs presentations, and oversees that the media strategy is executed to campaign goals.

The Integrated Media Buyer is a catalyst for strategic thinking and placement of media on client projects as well as a liaison between other agency departments.

Responsibilities

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize and juggle multiple tasks within set deadlines

Acts as the catalyst for strategic thinking and planning, making recommendations and optimizations for client media campaigns

Acts in various capacities across strategy and planning, recommendations and execution, optimization, and reporting for client media campaigns

Identifies and negotiates cost-effective, scalable, and targeted media agreements that will provide qualified and quantifiable results for clients

Sends RFPs, organizes and negotiates proposed elements from media vendors; writes plans and presentations; negotiates and purchases print, broadcast, out-of-home, online, digital media, and other duties typical to the practice area

Builds, optimizes, and maintains social campaigns in platforms such as Facebook, Twitter & LinkedIn

Interprets campaign results and communicates the effectiveness of campaigns to clients

Oversees campaign reconciliation, post-buy analysis, client reporting and billing

Integrates emerging digital trends; stays on top of the latest techniques, trends, vendors, etc.

Ensures the quality of all media deliverables with impeccable attention to detail

Can work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment; prioritizes and juggles multiple tasks within set deadlines

CREDENTIALS AND EXPERIENCE

Strong verbal presentation skills and high professional composure

Collaborative attitude and communicates proactively with colleagues

2-4 years of experience in media buying

Experience in buying all paid media types

Experience with SBMS, Advantage Media and/or similar agency buying tools

Proficiency in all Microsoft Office programs

Strong research, analytical, mathematical, and negotiating skills

Digital platform certifications a plus
