About the Role

As an HR Co-op, reporting directly to the North America HR Director, you willfocus on apprenticeship program development, you will play a pivotal role in assisting with the creation and implementation of our apprenticeship initiatives. You will work closely with the HR team and various department leaders to ensure the successful execution of our apprenticeship program objectives.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • with HR and departmental stakeholders to identify talent needs and skill gaps suitable for apprenticeship programs.
  • in developing comprehensive apprenticeship program guidelines, including eligibility criteria, training plans, and evaluation processes.
  • industry best practices and benchmarks to inform the design and structure of our apprenticeship initiatives.
  • in establishing partnerships with educational institutions, vocational training centers, and community organizations to recruit potential apprentices.
  • recruitment efforts, including drafting job postings, screening applicants, and conducting interviews.
  • with internal stakeholders to organize training sessions, workshops, and networking events for apprentices.
  • to the development of marketing materials and communication strategies to promote our apprenticeship programs internally and externally.
  • duties as assigned.

What You Need to Be Successful

  • pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • interest in talent development, workforce planning, and HR program management.
  • organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
  • in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
