Our customers include civilian and defense federal government agencies.
Design To Delivery Inc (D2DInc) is looking for a Financial Systems Analyst to support a government customer in Virginia Beach, VA. This person will provide program and project budget analysis support for a government customer. The qualified individual will be customer-focused and team-oriented with the ability to work independently.
This position requires an active Secret clearance.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Duties to be carried out include, but are not limited to:
- Provide advice and technical assistance in the preparation of annual budgets.
- Measure organizational performance, assess the effects of various programs and policies on the budget.
- Examine budget estimates or proposals for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with established procedures, regulations, and organizational objectives.
- Employ cost-benefit analysis to review financial requests, assess program tradeoffs, and explore alternative funding methods.
- Examine past and current budgets and research economic and financial developments that affect the organization's spending.
- Develop guidelines and policies governing the formulation and maintenance of budgets.
- Conduct training sessions for company or government agency personnel regarding new budget procedures.
- A Bachelor's degree in a business, finance, or accounting from an accredited university or college.
- Seven (7) years of experience supporting financial execution.
- Three (3) years of experience DoD and/or DoN agencies providing financial support.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Ability to interact professionally and collaboratively with others exhibiting decorum and discretion at all times.
- Individual must be self-motivated, a fast learner and able to complete tasks with minimal direction and supervision
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must have an active Secret clearance.
