Senior Financial Analyst

to join our team in

Virginia Beach, VA . Job Description Analyze biweekly revenue calculations. Review, monitor and analyze project budgets maintained in Costpoint. Review and monitor project profitability and EAC’s. Prepare New Business Budgets in Costpoint. Prepare and review:

Monthly Contract Review Monthly Financial Reports Annual Operating Plan (Budget) Financial Forecast Updates, as needed, throughout the year External Stakeholder (BOD, Lender, PE-firm) financial information

Provide internal training on Costpoint utilization and best practices. Develop/utilize Costpoint to automate project control processes. Assist with Costpoint implementations. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Must have a degree in related field: BA Degree + 4 years; Associate Degree + 8 years; OR High School Diploma/equivalent + 10 years technical or operational experience. Must have experience with Deltek Cost Point and government contracting. Must have experience with Costpoint implementations. Must have strong financial analytical ability accompanied by knowledge of corporate finance principles – understanding of income statement, balance sheet and cash flow dynamics. Must have the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the company. Must have the ability to accumulate, organize and manipulate quantitative data to identify and explain trends, problems, and their causes. Must demonstrate initiative and independence of action in performing the responsibilities of the position. Must be able to manage many projects simultaneously and prioritize workload appropriately. Must have the ability to adapt quickly to new systems and a changing business environment. Must have strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Must have the ability to maintain confidential information. Desired Qualifications: BA in Accounting (CPA)/Finance or 8+ years of professional experience preferred. Previous experience in lead/supervisor roles preferred. Security Requirements:

Minimal, 10% Physical Requirements: Minimal mobility, dexterity, or coordination required to operate common business machines.
