JOB PURPOSE:

This technical leader role architects, integrates, develops, and maintains new and existing systems within the company. This position will be involved in all aspects of the application design/architect/build/lifecycle management (database, web, client apps, service, and system interfaces) with a focus on custom software solutions, transitions to modern platforms and sustainment of critical customizations. The role focuses on ensuring new capabilities integrate seamlessly and in innovative, modern ways with legacy and existing datasets and functions. This role assists functional teams with outlining best technological fit and looks for ways to use commercial, out of the box software to meet functional needs, then assessing scope and scale for custom solutions where required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

§ Collaborate to design, deliver, and implement enterprise solutions that accelerate growth, allow scale, and have high end user adoptability with a focus on technical and architecture expertise.

§ Manage and mentor a team of developers and architects with varying backgrounds and stack expertise, fostering a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and high-quality software development practices

§ Technical leadership and hands on work to ensure scalability, security, reliability, and performance of key business systems, including break/fix, modernization, enhancement of legacy solutions

§ Serve as a technical design leader to meet and enhance value of technology investments working in close collaboration with functional and analyst teams

§ Continuously work to migrate the organization toward the use of emerging technologies in AI, ML, etc. – being a pragmatic change agent

§ Understand and drive a data driven culture throughout all teams

§ Directly manage resource allocation for development and integration work; ensuring estimates are sound, DevSecOps methodologies are clear and consistent and code quality is high.

§ Contribute to overall technical architecture strategy, proposing improvements and mitigating technical debt. This role leads modernization of legacy solutions in an iterative manner

§ Ensure technical issues are identified and resolved in production systems quickly

§ Proactively identify ways to leverage existing software investments to add value

§ Evaluate and manger the re-engineering of existing systems, as well as the design and implementation of new features and interfaces for new and existing platforms

§ Audit and maintain/enhance the ongoing performance of systems

§ Coordinate system architecture definition, data definition and management (in partnership with business intelligence teams), system specifications, testing, debugging, validation.

§ Manage third party vendor partners, recommend approaches to manage products and integrations cost effectively

§ Utilize Numotion Leadership Principles to perform job with integrity, compliance, and values consistent with Numotion’ s mission

§ Adhere to employee or customer confidentiality and comply with Numotion’s policies and federal regulations

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:

§ Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field

At least 7 years in technical role, with at least 3 years as a developer

§ Management experience leading technical teams, architecting practical solutions while providing considerable input to overall technical architecture vision

§ Understanding of security practices in development and monitoring

§ Excellent communication skills to both technical and non-technical audiences; highly collaborative

§ Data driven; ability to understand the value and architecture of common data sets and work closely with data and analytics teams to achieve desired outcomes

§ Experience reviewing, contributing, and developing custom solutions and selecting best software for business requirements

Power Platform, PowerApps, or equivalent

UiPath (or similar RPA)
