The position is the first to interact with customers, tasks, all of which involve supporting the company's operations and products. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Communicate with insured clients or providers to obtain information to update accounts or change beneficiaries, amount of coverage, type of insurance, or payment options. Identify and document the needs of the customer utilizing software and following procedures. Resolve customer issues by following policies and procedures or explaining the process to the customer. Process and record new insurance policies and make modifications to existing policies or claims. Invoice policies and record and maintain all customer payment records. Perform other duties as assigned by the Department Manager. Education and Experience: Associate or bachelor's degree is preferred.
