We are looking for a Manager - Talent Acquisition to be a trusted partner as we continue to scale our great talent bench in support of our sustained global growth. As a Manager - Talent Acquisition, you will be a player coach, combining job scoping, leadership alignment, candidate sourcing and closing with mentorship and development of our TA team. We are building a truly unique, global company and as such, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of roles. The successful candidate gets excited at the prospect of ramping up and learning new subject matter to properly identify talent and speak credibly to them. You will collaborate closely with members of our executive team and talent organization to fill key strategic positions within Airwallex on a global scale. This role requires exceptional influencing skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment where successful outcomes are recognized and celebrated.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner with senior executives to define strategic hiring needs
Contribute to the continuous improvement of recruitment processes and practices and development of our TA team
Serve as a thought partner to hiring managers throughout the recruitment process utilizing creative and diverse sourcing strategies to attract top-tier talent
Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to TA team members to drive performance and achieve hiring goals
Collaborate with hiring managers and recruiters to understand hiring needs and develop targeted sourcing plans
Provide a consistently positive candidate experience by building trusted relationships with candidates
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on hiring strategies and goals
Qualifications:
7+ years of experience in recruitment hiring progressively senior-level candidates, 3+ in mentoring, developing recruiting teams, preferably in a fast-paced, growth stage environment with a high talent bar
Experience hiring across domains and up and down seniority levels
Ability to ramp up on new domains in a short period of time, and ask the right questions to build alignment with hiring teams
Proven track record of successfully recruiting and closing candidates across varying circumstances (global roles, niche talent profiles, late-stage, pre-IPO company)
Strong collaboration and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior leaders
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills that builds confidence and trust between senior-level hiring managers and candidates
Ability to work autonomously and drive results in a global setting
