Musicians On Call (MOC) is a nonprofit organization that brings live and recorded music to the bedsides of patients in healthcare environments. The Program Coordinator is a full-time, non-exempt position responsible for overseeing
MOC Virtual
,
MOC Streaming
and supporting the program team with volunteer recruitment, inquiries, and onboarding. The Program Coordinator will work with the Sr. Director of Programs and Team to continue to evolve and strengthen the new technology-focused program delivery model of MOC. This position will report to the Sr. Program Manager and will be
based in Nashville, TN.
Program Management Responsibilities
Oversee all elements of regular virtual programming, including shift set-up in the MOC program platform, YouTube, and Zoom, hospital onboarding and communication, and managing virtual volunteer experience and schedule
Onboard new virtual volunteers, assist with program placement as needed and communicate any changes or updates to volunteers in a timely manner
Manage communication, scheduling, and overall experience of all new and existing virtual volunteers
Assist with special virtual program campaigns that involve national hospital involvement, special experiences, detailed follow up and tracking, and reporting for cross-departmental distribution
Fulfill all MOC Streaming requests by reviewing and processing applications, technical setup, packaging, and shipping of program tablets and materials, maintaining hospital partner relationships, increasing program awareness, and auditing and requesting regular feedback
Manage and regularly update applications, records, and statistics through Salesforce and MOC’s platform
Brainstorm and implement new ideas to enhance MOC Virtual and MOC Streaming
Work closely with the Sr. Program Manager to coordinate special visits and events as needed for both MOC Virtual and MOC Streaming
Volunteer Experience & Onboarding
Maintain MOC values and company culture with all volunteers and prospective volunteers, nationally
Respond to general volunteer inquiries nationally and support the team with volunteer-specific needs
Screen all national volunteer applications for MOC Virtual and MOC Bedside for quality and suitability as they're submitted
Coordinate volunteer onboarding renewals and facilitate updates to the Learning Management System
Track program feedback and testimonials and relay issues to leadership as they arise
Minimum Qualifications Required
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal — bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred
Disciplined self-starter who can set and achieve goals with a passion for and interest in learning more about the nonprofit world
Ability to prioritize projects, meet deadlines, manage several projects simultaneously and work well under pressure

Ability and willingness to travel as needed
Ability and comfort with working onsite at hospitals, as required
Computer literacy and knowledge of Google Workspace, Zoom, and YouTube required; CRM familiarity preferred
Education/Training
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience within nonprofit, music industry, radio, healthcare, or related field(s)
Experience in a healthcare setting, knowledge of HIPAA and infection control policies is preferred
