Director, Growth Marketing

As the Director of Growth Marketing, you will be responsible for driving revenue for the strategy and execution of global marketing programs that capture and nurture marketing leads across multiple channels for a specific business division within CGS. These programs will include driving net new leads as well as outreach to our existing database through marketing automation; lead generation through events, direct marketing and search engine marketing; social media; and optimizing the use of CGSinc.com and related pages/content for campaigns.

The ideal candidate will be a seasoned marketer and proven demand generation expert who can operate in an entrepreneurial / fast paced environment, with a strong track record of driving leads and revenue for B2B technology companies. This position reports directly to the CMO, with dotted line to the division President, and requires extensive collaboration with marketing, sales, business development, product, customer success and leadership.

Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with the CMO and business unit President to develop and Develop and execute demand generation initiatives to drive new leads and nurture our existing database of leads
  • Manage and build the demand generation function for CGS (BU-specific)
  • Improve operational processes and reporting related to demand generation programs to measure effectiveness, performance and ROI of marketing spend
  • Improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our marketing automation system (i.e., Marketo) to better nurture leads, increase conversion rates to marketing qualified leads and improve the integrity of the overall database
  • Work with Digital team/director to develop integrated paid and organic programs that significantly increase the marketing database and overall pipeline (e.g., Google PPC, content marketing, webinars, events)
  • Work with the content marketing, BD and sales teams to develop (write, drive review process, publish) and promote marketing materials to drive awareness and interest
  • Work with marketing operations to analyze campaign outcomes in detail, drawing insights and presenting results clearly to facilitate sound decision making and next steps

Required Skills / Experience

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in demand generation with B2B organizations. Must have held specific roles in demand generation. Technology industry experience preferred.
  • Master at developing, executing, and measuring innovative and results-focused (revenue-driving) programs and campaigns.
  • Demonstrated analytical ability, specifically around program measurement and ROI, and program execution skills.
  • Proven experience in managing the creation of marketing materials.
  • Experience influencing and communicating product and solution offers to customers, prospects, and sales professionals - demonstrated by excellent written (including copywriting and proofreading) and oral communication skills.
  • Strong project management skills and experience with superb attention to detail.
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience with popular marketing automation and sales automation systems, particularly Marketo and Salesforce.com.
  • Bachelors degree in marketing, communications or related field required; MBA a plus.
