DCS Corp has an exciting opportunity for a Principal Program Control Specialistproviding support to the HBB/ Kessel Run (KR) Division and specifically supporting the All-Domain Common Platform (ADCP) Product Line.
The Candidate shall provide Program Control Specialist support with the knowledge of systems acquisition and program management, combined with administrative skills to support the program office to manage and report on a program, or portfolio of programs/projects. The Candidate shall possess and apply knowledge of principles, policies and practices of systems acquisition and program management, as defined in DoDI 5000.02 and 5000.75, as well as knowledge of roles and relationships within the DoD and the Air Force. The Candidate must have knowledge of qualitative and quantitative techniques for gathering, analyzing, and measuring the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of acquisition programs. The Candidate shall apply knowledge of support activities that assist the program manager in assessing what programs are within schedule and cost baselines.
This is a full time position located at Hanscom Air Force Base, MA
Essential Job Functions:
Responsibilities may also include but are not limited to:
- Provide administrative support functions related staff support for the senior managers and members of the organizational staff.
- Provide quality acquisition and program documentation (briefings, documents, and plans).
- Support and develop acquisition reports, including statutory and regulatory reports (i.e. Defense Acquisition Executive Summary (DAES) and MAR.
- Support program management reviews, senior level meeting/reviews and Integrated Master Plan/Integrated Master Schedule reviews.
- Support and develop various briefings/schedules of program status and acquisition tasks to senior management.
- Researching and compiling information pertaining to certain projects/topics, reviews CDRL packages, prepares factual, clear, concise, complete and appropriately coordinated written communications.
- Ensure that leadership is kept informed of all issues of interest that relate to the mission organization.
- Monitor progress toward accomplishment of various taskings and initiatives.
- Provide support by supplying the information and background for the preparation of program events.
- Draft documents for the approval and signature of leadership.
- Disseminates program policy and specific initiative guidance for members of the organization.
- Coordinates, documents, monitors, and supports a variety of meetings and conferences to include, but not limited to, scheduling, and set up of physical and virtual meetings in support.
- Prepare background information and invite required meeting participants ensuring documentation of the meetings are filed IAW organizational policy, which may include, but is not limited to, attendance logs, minutes and/or action items with corresponding action officers.
- Maintain scheduling documents and requirements for video and online conferencing set up and execution, which may include but is not limited to the maintenance logs on the equipment and the corresponding instructions on equipment set up and meeting execution.
Required Skills:
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
A High School Diploma plus 30 years of experience, 20 of which must be in the DoD.
An adjudicated DoD Secret Security clearance on the First Day of employment.
