Whether its big or small data, our teams ability to turn that data into insights and insights into great decisions hinges upon our team that makes it all work. The more time we can save through automation that runs flawlessly and without intervention, the more time we must deliver new insights. This hybrid role (Tues-Wed-Thurs in office) can be based in Wayne, PA. In this role you will: Lead and evangelize Digital Customer Expertise Team with an Automation Mindset across the teams. Stay up to date on the latest technological changes around Automation practices / tools at a team level and bring forward to teams as applicable. Lead automation initiatives across the team. Interact with other Automation Engineers to help implement optimized and re-usable functional test automation. Coach and mentor others in automation, test automation and best practices. You will create a robust set of automation tests to result in a deep and flexible set of tests that become the primary foundation of continuous delivery testing. You will maintain these frameworks by following the current standards and coordinating test execution, training users, and providing user support. Elevate endpoint health data, test, and production environments on schedule. Provide follow-up production support. Submits change control requests and documents. Thoroughly understand client business functions and technology needs. Have a broad understanding of Vanguard's technologies, tools, and applications, including those that interface with business area and systems using ThousandEyes, Zscaler, SysTrack, Splunk, Microsoft Power Platform. What it takes: 5 years of experience in a Microsoft 365 environment, with a strong focus on PowerShell scripting. Strong scripting skills using languages such as PowerShell, JavaScript, Python, or Bash, for automating routine tasks, system configurations, and deployment processes. Experience with designing and refining PowerShell scripts for service efficiency. Foster the adoption of Test automation, Performance and Test data management tools and capabilities across Technology groups. Experience setting up and maintaining automation frameworks. Experience with design, setup, and maintenance of automation test environments. Isolate, replicate, and remediate end point issues proactively through automation. Work on custom automation solutions to support the team. Provide technical direction and support to fellow team members. Provide technical support and training to other automation resources. Verify accuracy of monitoring, and reporting data. Prepare reports summarizing information or trends related to automation. Actively support/solve issues for internal customers. Develop and execute performance test scripts specific to the product needs. Perform/lead test execution for both project and support related activities. Design, develop and test scripts/automation modules for production systems using PowerShell. Create and maintain workflows. Create and maintain script documentation.
