We are looking for a skilled Manager of Automation Engineering to spearhead our automation initiatives and enhance operational efficiency within our IT department.

The successful candidate will possess a robust technical foundation in automation engineering, familiarity with ServiceNow, and outstanding leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee a team of automation engineers to conceptualize, develop, and deploy automation solutions
Formulate and implement automation strategies aimed at boosting efficiency and minimizing manual errors
Work collaboratively with cross-departmental teams to pinpoint automation prospects and prioritize projects
Architect and execute automation workflows utilizing ServiceNow, scripting languages, and various automation tools
Ensure that automation solutions align with business needs and adhere to industry best practices
Administer and optimize existing automation solutions, including troubleshooting and enhancements
Develop and oversee budgets, resource distribution, and project timelines
Encourage a culture of innovation, ongoing learning, and knowledge sharing within the team

Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in IT automation engineering, with a minimum of 2 years in a managerial capacity
Strong technical expertise in automation technologies, including ServiceNow, scripting languages, and automation frameworks
Familiarity with IT service management (ITSM) and IT operations management (ITOM) processes
Exceptional leadership, communication, and project management abilities
Capability to thrive in a dynamic environment and adjust to shifting priorities
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
Additional Qualifications that may enhance your candidacy (preferred):
Experience with ServiceNow, including relevant certifications (e.g., Certified System Administrator) is advantageous
Knowledge of cloud-based automation platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
Experience with DevOps methodologies and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Docker)
Certification in ITSM/ITOM processes (e.g., ITIL)
