Keeping detailed notes and records of all communications and actions. From sending out initial statements, kindly reminding patients of balances due, to working with our collection agency to close the accounts.Requirements•Must be comfortable contacting patients for balances due•Ability to review patient accounts & communicate findings•Have problem solving skills to successfully collect debts•Prepare collection letters and work directly with Collection Agency•Provide excellent customer service•Maintain a positive attitudeQUALIFICATIONS:•Minimum 1-year medical billing experience•Excellent customer service•Attention to detail•Strong time-management skills•Self-motivated•Advanced computer skills (Word, Excel, and Outlook)•Enjoy working closely with other staff members•Be flexible with job dutiesSalary Description $21.50 - $27.00
