Job Title: Payroll Specialist

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team at Flatiron Construction. As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for processing payroll, auditing time records, and ensuring data integrity.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Process payroll within company-assigned frequencies, including compiling payroll data, preparing and issuing paychecks, and processing timely and accurate wage assignments, garnishments, child support orders, and employment verifications.
* Audit all system entries for new hires, status and compensation changes, and termination submissions with the support of the HR Data Entry team.
* Respond to and resolve payroll inquiries in a timely and compliance manner.
* Analyze payroll reports to ensure accurate and timely tracking and accruals.
* Perform additional assignments as directed by management.
* Support the reconciliation of outstanding payroll checks with the corporate Accounting team.

**Requirements**

* High School diploma or GED required.
* Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred.
* 3+ years' experience with in-house payroll processing.
