We are looking for a versatile HR professional to handle a variety of personnel-related duties and ensure a smooth and positive employee experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and excellent interpersonal skills.

This position requires onsite presence at our Austin headquarters.

What you'll do...

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from job posting to onboardings for open positions internally and for our clients
  • Familiar with and able to navigate vendor relations for employees day-to-day responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns
  • Conduct or acquire background checks and employee eligibility verifications
  • Attend and participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks
  • Assist employees with benefits-related inquiries and ensure compliance with applicable regulations
  • Develop, update, and communicate HR policies and procedures
  • Respond to unemployment claims and employment verifications in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced startup environment, adapting to changing priorities and challenges.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in taking on additional responsibilities as needed
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an HR Generalist in a similar role.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative, and entrepreneurial culture
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS
