Job Title: Lead Manufacturing EngineerJob Description
As a Lead Manufacturing Engineer, you will be involved in the assembly and testing of turbomachinery and combustion devices. Your responsibilities will include designing, implementing, and supporting production lines or build areas. You will contribute to design reviews, acting as an expert in design for manufacture, design for test, productivity, supplier capability assessments, and quality control. Additionally, you will perform initial Value Stream Mapping Exercises, Method of Manufacture plans, and cell design. Further responsibilities include implementing factory layouts, equipment selection, FAT, SAT, and production commissioning. You will develop production processes, ensuring they are accurately and clearly documented, including testing procedures, health and safety requirements, and supervisor signoffs. Lastly, you will interface with the quality team to resolve manufacturing engineering quality responsibilities and, when required, lead problem containment and structured root cause & corrective action investigations.
Hard Skills
+ 5+ years manufacturing environment experience (PROPULSION)
+ 3+ years experience in leadership position
+ Experience and knowledge of fluid and structural mechanics fundamentals
