About this Role:

The Technical Services Manager- BESS, at Power Engineering, specializing in NETA 3 plays a pivotal role in overseeing and managing technical services operations within the organization. They are responsible for ensuring that all electrical systems, particularly those adhering to NETA 3 standards, are installed, maintained, and repaired effectively and safely. The Technical Services Manager collaborates with cross-functional teams, provides technical guidance, and ensures compliance with regulatory standards.

What You'll Do:
  • Develop, train, and mentor junior field service technicians.
  • Be the primary point of contact for all field service issues/requests
  • Assist inside sales with estimating needs by providing technical guidance.
  • Become a primary point of contact for all matters associated with field services.
  • Prepare senior technicians for jobs that are assigned to them.
  • Assist with assigning jobs to senior technicians.
  • Provide on-site technical support as needed.
  • Provide technical/hands-on training.
  • Determine technician qualifications in conjunction with senior leadership.
What You'll Bring:
  • Associates degree in a technical field
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, preferred
  • NETA certification level 3 or 4 required.
  • Proven experience in technical services management, with a focus on electrical systems and NETA 3 standards.
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical testing procedures, equipment, and safety protocols.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, allocate resources, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications for project management, documentation, and data analysis
