JOB REQUIREMENTS: Position Description Formulates strategy and setsdirection for compensation and benefits programs that are consistentwith business goals while enhancing the company\'s ability to attract,develop and retain the best talent and position the company as anemployer of choice. Partners closely with business and HR leaders todevelop effective and sustainable processes and programs. JobResponsibilities Develops strategic plans and annual operating goals forglobal compensation, benefits and HR Systems Works closely with the VicePresident of Human Resources and Corporate Secretary in preparinganalyses and coordinating materials for presentation to the CompensationCommittee and the Board of Directors Monitors performance againstapproved strategies and goals; analyzes and reports performanceutilizing trend analysis and experience data Ensures effective deliveryof managerial information and training to drive compliance regardingcompensation and benefit programs Supports labor contract negotiationsand participates in the collective bargaining process as needed; providecost and design recommendations and comply with union requests forinformation Represents the company in industry associations and othersimilar professional groups; manage selection, budgeting andparticipation in surveys to review and preserve the company\'scompetitive stance in industry Directs the work of groups of employees(leads through managers). Performs full range of managerialresponsibilities and/or oversight of multiple departments which mayinclude but not be limited to: interviewing, hiring, coaching anddeveloping employees; planning, assigning and directing work; EEO/AA;performance management; department budget Performs other duties asassigned Job Skills Requirements Comprehensive knowledge andunderstanding of compensation and benefits field, related laws, rulesand regulations Demonstrated success in exercising fact-based decisionmaking Outstanding communication and interpretation skills including butnot limited to negotiation, influencing and collaboration skills Provenability to lead various groups Results driven leader, acts with sense ofurgency Strong technical, managerial and team building skills with theability to balance tactical and strategic responsibilities Excellentplanning, organizational, problem solving and decision making skillsFluent in English and primary language...
