Location: Mt Vernon, NY

Pay Rate: $17.50 per hour + Benefits

Hours: Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm (1 hour unpaid lunch)

On-Site position/Possible Hybrid

Responsibilities:

+ Maintaining employee files and the HR filing system

+ Assisting with the day-to-day efficient operation of the HR office.

+ Assist with the New Hire process which includes, but is not limited to: All background clearances, collection of important documentation, and acting as a liaison for New Hires until their start date.

+ Maintain compensation and benefits administration and recordkeeping

+ Maintain the highest level of confidentiality

+ Employee safety, welfare, wellness, and health reporting

+ Maintain all aspects of Dayforce and onboarding.

+ Insure that all supplies, office equipment and forms used are up to date and available for use.

+ Perform other tasks as assigned by the Human Resources Director as needed

+ Assist with special projects

Qualifications:

+ High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.

+ 1-2-years experience in an HR or administrative assistant role or training.

+ Good communication skills.

+ Ability to coordinate and prioritize various, multi-faceted tasks.

+ Strong computer skills and ability to organize and manage files.
