Line Cook

As a Line Cook for Traditions Hospitality Group in our fast casual dining setting, you'll play a vital role in delivering delicious meals with speed and precision. Your commitment to quality and efficiency will contribute to the overall satisfaction of our guests in a relaxed and casual atmosphere.

Essential functions and responsibilities:
  • Prepare and assemble menu items according to recipes and standards, ensuring timely service and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food preparation areas.
  • Coordinate with kitchen team members to ensure smooth operation and efficient workflow during peak hours.
  • Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Monitor inventory levels and notify management of any shortages or discrepancies.
  • Assist in food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients.
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, following manufacturer instructions and guidelines.
  • Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff to ensure accurate order fulfillment and timely service.
Required qualifications:
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must be able to obtain a Gaming badge (if applicable).
  • Previous experience as a line cook or similar role in a fast-paced kitchen environment preferred.
  • Basic understanding of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Working conditions and physical effort:
  • Stand and work in a kitchen environment for extended periods.
  • Lift and carry moderate to heavy objects, including pots, pans, and trays.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with frequent exposure to heat and kitchen elements.
  • Moderate to high noise levels.
