TrendMicro.com Position Summary The AR Staff Accountant position will require a “hands-on” mentality to meet the needs of a fast-paced North American finance organization. The AR Staff Accountant is responsible for the day-to-day and month-end close of the Accounts Receivable department. Responsibilities Sending invoices and credit memos daily to customers Communication with customers, including collection of payments Prepare Intercompany invoicing to other Trend Micro entities Prepare routine accrual and reclassification entries Maintain journal entry related documentation Assist with month-end close activities including preparation of closing journal entries, account reconciliations, and post-closing reports Filing and Scanning documents Provide support for internal and external auditors Special projects as assigned Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance. 2+ years of related Accounting/Accounts Receivable experience required. Basic understanding of accounting rules and practice. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Self starter, with ability to work independently and with a team with excellent planning and organizational skills. Team player who can interact well with any level of management or employee.
