The purpose of this role is to drive the company’s growth through the acquisition of new business opportunities and strategic partnerships. This leadership role demands a seasoned professional with a proven track record in business development, strong strategic planning skills, and the ability to foster and maintain relationships with key stakeholders. Areas of Responsibility / Tasks Performance must reflect appropriate level of expertise and achievement of the desired results for the items listed below

. 1. Strategic Planning and Execution Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies aligned with the company’s goals and objectives. Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, trends, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions. Collaborate with the executive team to set and achieve short-term and long-term business goals. 2. Partnerships and Alliances Identify, negotiate, and secure strategic partnerships, alliances, and joint ventures that enhance the company’s market position and drive growth. Maintain and nurture relationships with key partners, clients, and stakeholders to ensure long-term success and mutual benefit. 3. Sales and Revenue Growth Lead efforts to identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue growth. Oversee the development of proposals, presentations, and contracts to secure new business. Manage the business development team to achieve sales targets and expand the company’s customer base. 4. Market Research and Analysis Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify potential opportunities for growth and expansion. Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to adjust strategies as needed. 5. Leadership and Team Management Lead, mentor, and develop the business development team, fostering a high-performance culture. Set clear objectives, provide regular feedback, and ensure continuous professional development for team members. 6. Brand and Reputation Management: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance the company’s reputation and visibility. Develop and maintain a strong professional network to facilitate business development efforts. Competencies; Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (KSA) To perform this role successfully, an individual must have experience achieving desired result(s) in their areas of responsibility. The requirements listed below are representative of observable behaviors and essential knowledge, skill, and abilities required of a successful incumbent within our culture. Proven track record of successfully developing and executing business development strategies that drive revenue growth. Strong understanding of market research, sales processes, and strategic planning. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders. Strong leadership and team management skills. High level of integrity, professionalism, and strategic thinking. Minimum Qualifications/ Education / Experience / Certifications Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred. Equivalent experience considered in lieu of degree. Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Systems Experience:

Microsoft suite: Outlook, Excel - Required (Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint preferred)

Work Environment / Conditions The work environment/conditions described herein are representative of those that an incumbent may experience. This job primarily operates in an office setting based in Twinsburg, OH with potential for remote work. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and mobile communications devices. Must be

comfortable working in a shared space, with constant noise, with/or without the use of a private office. Schedules may vary from week to week based on business demands in excess of 40 hours with or without notice.
