Reports to: Warehouse Manager FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Shift: (Days) Location: Puyallup, Washington JOB SUMMARY : Primarily assigned to organize and deploy projects and processes to improve and optimize warehousing operations. Performs a variety of warehousing functions, which may include: shipping, receiving, inventory control, stockroom, supply documentation, data input, material distribution and delivery. Safely operates lift trucks and related material handling equipment as required. Requirements ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS : Learn and Evaluate warehouse processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas of improvement. Analyze processing workflows, process mapping, and root cause analysis to identify opportunities for optimization Identify opportunities to reduce processing time, improve order accuracy, and enhance customer satisfaction Continuous improvement projects Provide training and support to warehouse staff on process changes, system updates, and best practices. JOB QUALIFICATIONS : High school diploma or equivalent required; must have basic math and counting skills. Minimum 2-3 years warehouse/distribution center experience, required. Ability to access computer data and accurately enter required information. Ability to multi-task, manage multiple priorities, and follow written and verbal instructions. Prior material handling or inventory control experience preferred. Ability to lift 35 to 50 pounds, with standing and frequent bending. Forklift certification is highly desired or ability to learn and be certified. Ability to interact and communicate effectively with peers, supervisors and management. Working knowledge of MS Office Programs (i.e., Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Must be able to work mandatory overtime when necessary. Position is on-site.
