YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:
Reporting to the Senior Reliability Specialist, you will be part of the Process Plant Department. You will also ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.
Oversee condition monitoring activities related to process plant equipment;
Champion and implement world class reliability programs that will maximize production and profit by minimizing downtime;
Conduct regular and formal downtime analysis for critical equipment;
Analyze and collaborate with maintenance personnel on strategies and procedures and make recommendations to improve safety, efficiencies and effectiveness;
Act as a technical resource to assist the maintenance team with troubleshooting equipment issues and systemic problems;
Operate in compliance with all applicable legal and engineering standards and specifications;
Assist with the completion of risk assessments for maintenance activities and support the development of safe work procedures.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering; or Technologist with exceptional experience in a similar leadership role;
Professional designation is preferred;
Experience with equipment reliability programs is an asset;
Exposure to project management techniques;
Familiarity with mineral processing, specifically with crushers, SAG and ball mills circuits, bearings, pumps, etc. are an asset;
Strong analytical and communication skills;
Proven commitment to safety, heath and environmental best practices;
Excellent organizational and leadership skills;
Strong analytical, planning, organizational, time management and communication skills;
Strong business acumen and intermediate to advanced level knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, PI Vision/Historian and SAP;
Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite applications especially Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
YOUR WORK SCHEDULE:
Schedule: 4/3 schedule at our Macassa Mine in Kirkland Lake, ON.
