Become a Key Player as a Lead Quality Assurance Engineer

Human Capital Solutions is on the lookout for a Lead Quality Assurance Engineer who will be instrumental in ensuring operational excellence through the application of quality principles and adherence to industry regulations.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Uphold the standards of ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100D:2016 Quality Management Systems.
  • Collaborate with diverse teams to pinpoint and rectify product quality challenges.
  • Communicate the organization’s commitment to continuous quality enhancement.
  • Partner with clients' quality and engineering teams to investigate root causes and formulate action plans.
  • Review client quality specifications and relay any critical notes to the appropriate departments.
  • Engage in Advanced Product Quality Planning for new tools or methodologies.
  • Spearhead problem-solving initiatives for root cause analysis and corrective measures.
  • Generate AS9102 documentation for intricate assemblies and oversee customer grievances.
  • Propel PPM enhancement initiatives for key clientele.
  • Employ statistical methods to uncover product and process discrepancies.
  • Contribute to quality reporting and management review protocols.
  • Collaborate with clients, manufacturers, and suppliers to resolve issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Participate in supplier qualifications and audits.
  • Conduct reliability assessments such as MTBF, MTTR, MTTM.
  • Execute any additional assigned responsibilities.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) or Quality Systems Management.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Quality Engineer within an AS9100 Quality Management System.
  • Strong foundation in mechanical engineering processes with a background in the electronics industry.
  • Familiarity with FAA Conformity is advantageous.
  • Preferred certifications include Certified Quality Engineer and Certified AS9100 Auditor.
  • Knowledge of internal and supplier audit processes, CA/PA, FAI, and AS9102 documentation.
  • Proficient in Reliability Analysis software and current MIL-STD requirements.

  • Strong planning, prioritization, and organizational abilities.
  • Capable of working autonomously with minimal oversight.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism in high-pressure situations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Committed to fostering a positive workplace culture.
  • Willingness to work standard hours with occasional travel requirements.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, and lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Proficient in utilizing office equipment and computers.
  • Adequate vision for close work and computer-related tasks.
Work Environment:
  • Primarily office-based with occasional hands-on activities.
  • Moderate noise levels and potential exposure to electrical hazards.
