Regional Sales Manager

for the West Region (California & Oregon) to join our team of talented people to help continue our tradition of innovation and market leadership. This is a remote position based out of our Ridgefield, WA

or

Springfield, OR location.

As the Western Regional Sales Manager, you are responsible for developing and implementing key growth strategies, tactics and action plans required to achieve sales.

How You Will Make a Positive Impact: Maintain excellent customer satisfaction by making professional presentations, detailed follow up, strong communication, and prompt problem resolution Meet or exceed your facilities/regions sales and service plan Supervise, coach and lead the outside sales team members to accomplish sales goals and strategic initiatives Develop and implement a strategy and sales plan to retain existing business and grow the sales and service market share with our sawmill customers in all product categories Create and present high-level presentations detailing various aspects of the business to senior management of the territory Develop and implement strategic sales plans and forecasts to achieve/exceed corporate objectives and expand the company's customer base, including goal setting for under-performing accounts Monitor competitor products, sales and marketing activities Direct sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly Work together with service operation to forecast and reach service goals Facilitate interactions across multiple disciplines to improve customer experience Direct staffing, training, and performance to develop and control sales programs Create standard operating procedures for sales team Meet with key customers, assisting sales representative with maintaining relationships, negotiating and finalizing sales Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships Are you an experienced Regional Sales Manager looking for that dynamic company where you can thrive? An associate’s degree or equivalent is required, with a preference for a bachelor’s degree Minimum of five years of Sawmill Sales experience is required Demonstrated ability to negotiate corporate agreements with customer leaders High level of leadership and influence Keen understanding of financial principles Strong understanding of sales methodologies, customer relationship management, and sales analytics Outstanding internal and external presentation and communication skills Exceptional ability to achieve results and manage multiple priorities effectively Strong analytical, project management, and organizational skills with a problem-solving attitude Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite particularly advanced Excel skills Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to travel up to 40-50% Must possess a valid passport for potential international travel Burton Mill Solutions is pleased to offer the following benefits to our full-time employees:
