We are seeking an Equipment Engineer that will be servicing and maintaining semiconductor and facilities equipment in and out of a cleanroom environment. This position will suit someone who is detail-oriented with technical, electrical and mechanical aptitude and is looking for a small company that puts people first. This position will be on-site at our Addison (Texas) foundry, Precision BioMEMS, working with a small, high-performing team. We are unable to consider remote workers, or people who are not currently in the US. We are also unable to offer relocation expenses. Key ResponsibilitiesYou will: Develop PM procedures for Fab and Facilities equipment. Increase Equipment Uptime, MTBF, and reduce MTTR. Equipment Parts setup/evaluations. Coordinate/Perform Equipment Installations. Perform service and repair of semiconductor processing and facilities equipment Troubleshoot equipment problems Log all work completed on local CMMS Perform upgrades and modifications to equipment as neededSkills, Knowledge and ExpertiseAS or BS degree in a technical field (electronics, engineering or other applicable fields) or equivalent military training. Good in English language (verbal and written form) Good knowledge / experience in CAD Software Pro\ENGINEER or AutoCAD is a plus 2-3 years' hands-on experience in maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of semiconductor equipment is a plus, especially in photolithography and/or etch. Mechanical aptitude is required as well as an ability to use appropriate tools Enjoys working cross-functionally in small team settings. Demonstrated history of self-directed work with a strong sense of ownership and accountability. Physical Requirements: Job duties are often performed in confined areas in a clean room environment and/or in awkward positions. Manual dexterity and ability to lift/carry objects up to 35 pounds is required Will require bending/stooping/crawling/climbing Will require the use of Personal Protection equipment and proper industry and company safety procedures.
