Their solution will be a world-first higher accuracy and timing solution than current GNSS and GPS constellations.
As a Lead Flight Software Engineer, you'll design and implement embedded software solutions across the full flight software development lifecycle, reporting directly to the CTO / Co-Founder.
Lead Flight Software Engineer Responsibilities
Design and develop embedded and flight software for advanced satellite systems
Lead OS customization and deployment using tools such as Yocto or PetaLinux
Develop and debug low-level and baremetal device drivers/firmware
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate and deploy software solutions
Report directly to the C-Suite while taking full ownership of embedded software design
Lead Flight Software Engineer Requirements
Experience in flight software development for aerospace or space
Proficiency in Embedded C/C++, Python, and Embedded Linux (desired)
Strong understanding of embedded hardware/software architectures and operating systems
Experience with OS and deployment tools like Yocto or PetaLinux
Proficiency in developing and debugging low-level and baremetal device drivers/firmware
A US Green Card or Citizenship is required
