POSITION SUMMARY As a Training Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting the Training Manager with duties associated with Aved’s required training for manufacturing operations including onboarding. This role involves coordinating training programs, managing training schedules, and ensuring the employees receive necessary skills and knowledge to perform their job effectively and safely. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and implement training programs tailored to meet the specific needs of different departments and roles within manufacturing operations Coordinate with department leads and supervisors to assess training needs and priorities Schedule training sessions and ensure trainers are available and prepared Create and update training materials, presentations and manuals Work closely with Training Manager and subject matter experts to gather information and content for training materials Ensure all training materials are current, accurate, and aligned with company policies and procedures Conduct training sessions for employees on various topics such as safety protocols, equipment operation, quality standards, new hire orientation, and regulatory compliance Utilize a variety of training methods and techniques, including classroom training, on-the-job training, workshops, and simulations Monitor training sessions to evaluate effectiveness and make improvements as needed Maintain accurate records of training activities, attendance, and outcomes Track and report on training metrics, including participation rates Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to training documentation Analyze training evaluation data to identify trends for areas of improvement Modify training programs and materials-based feedback and as required Collaborate with other departments to align training initiatives with company goals and objectives Monitor and review training budgets and program costs Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS Proven experience as a Training Administrator, Training Coordinator or similar role, preferably within a manufacturing environment Experience with PCB assembly, soldering thru-hole Printed Circuit Boards considered an asset Familiarity with manufacturing processes, equipment, quality and safety regulations Knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning Excellent organization and time management skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, in a fast-paced and changing environment Familiarity with e-learning techniques Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint Ability to work well in a team environment and build relationships with all client groups Application
