Overview The Conference Coordinator plans and executes exceptional conferences featuring dynamic and well-known Catholic speakers who share the beauty of our Catholic faith. A successful conference coordinator is familiar with many aspects of concurrent event planning and can independently prioritize and organize tasks for multiple events, all while maintaining trust with team members, exceptional integrity, professionalism, and a positive attitude - all which support our Catholic values and culture. Working closely under the leadership of our Director of Meetings and Events, you'll oversee conferences from start to finish, including post-event survey analysis and team debriefs.

Responsibilities • Participate in planning our conference schedule and events • Assist in creating and monitoring event budgets • Communicate and respond timely to dozens of amazing Catholic speakers • Participate in planning and executing an effective promotional strategy for each conference • Manage logistical and operational tasks related to the planning and execution of multiple, concurrent events across multiple geographic locations • Recruit and assist volunteers for each conference • Oversee exceptional data integrity and accuracy for conference registrants • Compile reports and summaries on efforts related to each conference managed • Attend conferences and fundraising events hosted by the organization approx. 6-8 times per year.

Requirements • Two years of hands-on experience with event management • Well-organized with attention to accuracy and detail, with strong project management skills • Competency in MS Office, and databases • Reliable transportation, willingness and ability to travel out of town for both day trips and periodic weekend-long conferences • Strong communication skills, proficient in both written and spoken English • Strong English speaking and writing skills • Minimum Degree Requirement: Associates degree or relevant certification • Preferred Degree Requirement: Bachelor's Degree • Active, practicing Catholic who loves the faith and is eager to share it with others
