The Lebanon County Area Agency on Aging is seeking a committed Volunteer Resources Coordinator 1 to join the team.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Volunteer Resources Coordinator 1, you will plan, organize, and coordinate the development of volunteer resources for the Lebanon County Area Agency on Aging (AAA).
Take part in providing an array of meaningful volunteer opportunities for seniors to serve other seniors and their community at large, as well as for volunteers of all ages to participate in volunteer events providing services to older persons.
Promote the concept and potential of volunteer resources to AAA and outside partners, and work with community leaders to relate the needs of the agency to available or potential resources in the community.
Recruit and interview volunteer applicants, match candidates with volunteer opportunities, and assist with the placement process.
Collaborate with volunteers and AAA service providers to resolve any issues and optimize volunteer placement.
You will provide ongoing support and recognition for volunteers in all programs coordinate recognition events for all volunteers providing service for the AAA.
Record volunteer hours, maintain the volunteer database, and prepare all other related paperwork in a timely manner.
This position also coordinates health and wellness programs as well as schedules, promotes, coordinates, and leads a variety of other programs.
Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment
Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
Area Agency on Aging offers a competitive salary and county benefits including health insurance, vision, life insurance, vacation and sick time, 10 holidays, and a retirement plan.
Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
One year of experience as a Volunteer Resources Coordinator Trainee;
or
Two years of experience in volunteer resources administration; and a bachelor's degree;
or
Any combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledges, skills, and abilities.
