Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse (RN):
Consult and collaborate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans.
Administer prescribed medications and maintain accurate records. Report any adverse reactions.
Educate patients on surgical procedures.
Document patients' medical information and vital signs.
Monitor specialized equipment used on patients and interpret electronic displays.
Initiate corrective action for any adverse symptomatology.
Provide bedside care for various medical patients, including pre- and post-surgery patients.
Perform tasks like changing dressings, inserting catheters, and starting IVs.
Participate in discharge planning. Record all care information accurately and promptly.
Handle other special projects and duties as assigned.
Requirements for the Registered Nurse (RN):
Current state license as a Registered Nurse.
Active CPR certification.
Strong technical, assessment, and documentation skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Capability to lift fifty (50) or more pounds. Job includes significant physical work.
Able to stand and/or walk for over four (4) hours daily.
Able to bend and/or stoop for over one (1) hour at a time.
