Job Responsibilities : We are looking for a dedicated Oncology Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. This role requires a compassionate and dependable nurse to deliver care and treatment to adult patients who are ill, injured, or recovering. You will be responsible for making clinical assessments and managing treatment plans independently. You will collaborate with a supportive team to ensure high-quality care for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather comprehensive information relevant to the patient's health status.
- Serve as an advocate for patients within the interdisciplinary team.
- Evaluate assessment data to identify diagnoses or issues.
- Establish expected outcomes for individualized patient care plans.
- Promote patient safety as a primary concern.
- Optimize care delivery and resource utilization.
- Educate patients and their families about medications, procedures, and treatments, providing ongoing support throughout their care experience.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid Registered Nurse license in the State of Florida or be eligible for licensure prior to employment.
- A minimum of one year of nursing experience in Oncology or Chemotherapy is preferred.
- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
