Job Responsibilities: As a Customer Service Representative, you will: Answer telephone calls in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner, enhancing the company's image. Respond to customer requests promptly to ensure satisfaction. Maintain a positive attitude and pleasant tone during all interactions. Process orders accurately, including mail, fax, and telephone entries into the ERP system. Utilize computer skills to manage customer accounts, product inventories, and relevant information. Provide verbal information on pricing, availability, and shipping costs. Handle invoices, credits, MSDSs, and other related documentation as required. Send order acknowledgments via fax or email. Resolve customer service issues, including tracking orders, tracing lost/damaged shipments, reviewing claims of shortages, and handling returns. Proactively and reactively expedite orders to ensure timely delivery. Utilize company resources and web databases to assist customers with product inquiries. Attend vendor training sessions to stay informed about product knowledge. Job Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in a relevant field is preferred. Proven experience in customer service or a similar role. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong computer literacy and ability to use ERP systems effectively. Ability to multitask and manage time effectively. Knowledge of product specifications, MSDS, and inventory management. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. Capable of maintaining professional relationships with customers and colleagues. Willingness to undergo training to enhance product knowledge.
