Job Description

Use Your Strengths at Wellmark as a Website Administrator

As Wellmark's front end Website Administrator, you play a critical role in the health, maintenance, support and management of Wellmark's public and secure websites and digital experiences. You will do this by creating and/or updating optimized, compliant and responsive web pages, implementing digital best practices and executing on search engine optimization (SEO) tactics. You have basic HTML and CSS technical knowledge, as well as a good understanding of website accessibility standards and guidelines. You have experience tracking, measuring, analyzing and optimizing digital properties, and will support the Digital Marketing team in making data-driven decisions.

Wellmark is looking for a candidate who is motivated, creative, strategic, detail-oriented and eager to be a part of something bigger, including an upcoming full site redesign. You have experience as a website administrator and possess a demonstrated history of collaborating with stakeholders and establishing productive relationships with your peers and leaders. Perhaps most importantly, you have a strong understanding of, and keep up-to-date on, healthcare industry standards and digital best practices while possessing the ability to connect the dots from digital strategy to execution. Qualifications

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising or related field or direct and applicable work experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in planning, updating, and building websites.
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing best practices, and their interplay with other marketing tactics; ability to define and translate strategy to execution in digital environments.
  • Demonstrated project management effectiveness: meeting deadlines, solving problems and aligning project work to campaign strategy.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to consult with stakeholders, articulate accurate information with technical and non-technical stakeholders and teams, including key decision makers.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple activities or projects.
  • Ability to cultivate peer, key stakeholder and vendor relationships in order to drive results.
Preferred:
  • Experience working within Sitecore and/or Adobe Content Management Systems and using its functionality for customization/optimization and creation of dynamic content.
  • Experience in Google Marketing platforms: Google Analytics (GA) and Google Tag Manager 360 (GTM) to set up analytics and reporting, and Google Data Studio to build KPI dashboards and reports.

  • Prioritizes planned and unplanned work, understanding what highest priority is and ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Possesses a strong working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and various Content Management Systems (CMS) platforms.
  • Collaborates with business stakeholders, creative, strategy and campaign marketing teams to produce web pages and assets.
  • Ensures content pages follow industry and digital best practices and supports SEO efforts.
  • Coordinates among cross functional teams to identify website challenges and recommends and implements solutions.
  • Personalizes web journeys and content using CMS functionality.
  • Works with analytics partners to ensure proper tagging and tracking across our websites.
  • Monitors website performance and makes optimization recommendations.
  • Presents to internal stakeholders site analytics, results, and optimization recommendations.
  • Ensures accuracy of work, double checking tasks are completed thoroughly and correctly.
  • Learns new marketing technology capabilities as they become available.
  • Performs quality assurance on properties to ensure they are functioning properly, including sitemaps and overseeing site technical updates.
  • Runs A/B lest and learn strategies on the website to improve outcomes.
  • Educates and trains content authors, as needed, to ensure content quality and compliance.
  • Appropriately routes content for stakeholder, legal, and compliance review as needed.
  • Collaborates with various stakeholders to ensure content alignment with the following guidelines, standards, regulations, and requirements: brand guidelines, Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 Level AA, Centers of Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Medicare Communications and Marketing Guidelines (MCMG), Affordable Care Act (ACA), Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association, and other regulatory entity guidelines.
  • Performs competitor research, as needed.
  • Actively participates in efforts to evaluate and evolve marketing technology capabilities and learn new approaches.
