As a Pre-Tester/Patient Services Specialist, you will perform patient support through technical and administrative tasks including gathering patient history, capturing diagnostic scans, scheduling appointments, insurance verification, data entry, and are responsible for general office activities. This is a permanent, full-time position working 30-40 hours per week, Mondays to Fridays . What Will You Be Doing?: Communication with patients including in person, by phone, and by email Administering pre-testing services such as retinal digital imaging Customer service activities including appointment bookings, prescription printouts, and billing and payments Office administrative tasks including processing mail, filing, and faxing Assistance with retail of eyewear products What Do You Bring: Passionate about customer experience; a great communicator who can provide exceptional patient care Committed to excelling as a member of a high performing team Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Good computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office suite Previous experience or knowledge of routine eye care an asset; we are open to training the right candidate Salary: $18-20 per hour COVID-19 considerations: Our healthcare facility is following all regional and Optometric Association recommended guidelines for COVID precautions.
