Key Responsibilities:

* Manage the full accounts payable cycle from receipt of invoices to payment, including coding invoices, obtaining approval, and entering the invoices into the accounting system.

* Prepare daily deposits and batch check runs.

* Ensure all accounts payable policies and procedures are adhered to, including vendor approval and invoice processing.

* Perform reconciliation of vendor statements to ensure accurate payment.

* Maintain vendor files for documentation and audit purposes.

* Correspond with vendors regarding payment questions, terms, account set-up, etc.

* Serve as subject matter expert in Workday for all accounts payable processes.

* Assist team with gathering support for all audits, including pulling documentation.

* Assist in ad hoc projects as needed.

* Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.

Education and/or Experience Qualifications:

* High School Diploma or GED is required.

* 3+ years of experience in accounting is preferred.

Additional Qualifications:

* Thorough knowledge of finance, accounting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

* Basic understanding of financial and accounting software applications.

* Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.

* Capable of scrutinizing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.

* Ability to work with information in a confidential manner.

* Ability to multitask and support senior accounting staff.
