Serving three primary markets - passenger vehicle, commercial truck, and off-highway equipment - Dana provides the world's original-equipment manufacturers and the aftermarket with local product and service support through a network of nearly 100 engineering, manufacturing, and distribution facilities. Job Duties and Responsibilities * Represent product line(s) to the assigned customer

* Responsible for managing the customer relationship to ensure Dana are a preferred partner and aligned with customer strategic direction.

* Responsible for account profitability and growth against corporate objectives, annual operating plan and long range plan.

* Make product presentations to purchasing, engineering and marketing groups

* Respond to customer requests for pricing, lead-time, and tooling on a timely basis

* Populate customer Cost Breakdown forms and cost walks

* Develop sales strategy and objectives.

* Lead Dana colleagues in Technical Demonstration events at the customer location: planning, coordination and execution

* Forecast customer requirements in support of Dana's Annual Operating Plan

* Develop internal customer contacts, serve as voice of customer and Dana facilities

* Participate in customer meetings (purchasing, engineering, plants, etc.)

* Ability to travel to Dana and customer locations as needed to support business activities

* Work with program managers to support APQP and PPAP activities

* Participate in personal, electronic, and / or documented interface with customers and Dana colleagues

* Participate in Value Analysis and Value Engineering Activities Qualifications Desired:

* Bachelors Degree in Business, Engineering or Marketing; technical aptitude and/or engineering background is a plus

* Original equipment manufacturer experience preferred (3 years minimum). Requirements:

* Price negotiation and quoting experience.

* Strong written and oral communication skills that allow the individual to express information in a clear and concise manner.

* Demonstrated strong sales and negotiation skills

* Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and MS Project), plus customer applications with the ability to quickly learn internet based programs for quoting, capacity, and other requirements.

* Must be a proven self-starter with proven time management ability.

* This individual must enjoy working in a team environment as well as independently without constant direct supervision.

* Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to work with people in high pressure situations while managing multiple priorities and tasks and have proven track record of dependability

* Strong dedication and commitment to quality customer service and satisfaction while following through on assigned projects.

* Experience in the following areas is considered desirable and advantageous

* General product costing concepts

* Key financial metrics - EBIT, ROIC, NPV, etc

* Interpreting engineering drawings

* DFMEA, PFMEA, DVP&R and Control Plans

* Project planning and reporting tools

* Capacity analysis planning and reporting tools
