The Portfolio AP Manager is responsible for accounts payable processing for a designated portfolio of assets. The position may also assist with other tasks as directed by the Regional Manager. DUTIES and SPECIFICATIONS:

The Portfolio AP Manager’s primary responsibilities shall include but not be limited to the following: Enter all payables into accounting software prior to their due date. This includes electronic and hard copy invoices. Thoroughly detail expense items when entering into software including coding expenses to the correct accounting codes as outlined in the property budget. Assist vendors with electronic invoice submission setup so all vendors are submitting invoices through the software platform. Audits contracted expenses against contracts to ensure correct billing. Audits contracted expenses monthly and provides a list of accruals to Property Managers for contract services not expensed in the current month. Audits turnover expenses against vendor price lists to ensure correct billing. Quarterly review of all vendors and reconciliation of statements to ensure there are no outstanding invoices. Reviews General Ledgers during month and prepares reclasses for expenses for each asset to provide to Property Managers. Audits property FASs are completed within 30 days and checks are issued/mailed. Other duties as assigned by Regional Manager. Comply with Fair Housing requirements and laws. SKILLS and ABILITIES

Ability to provide timely and accurate response to clients, Regional Manager and the accounting department. Posse’s verbal, math and reasoning skills. Ability to respect and maintain confidentiality. Ability to manage time effectively. Knowledge of business practices and principles. Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks. Ability to cope with stress in a composed manner. Demonstrated effective negotiating and effective communication skills. Possess good organizational skills as well as being detail oriented. QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma a must, post-secondary preferred. WORKING CONDITIONS :

Portfolio AP Manager is a remote position; however, at times, the Portfolio AP Manager may need to be onsite for training, meetings, and other requested items. This position will involve light travel for training and education seminars. The Portfolio AP Manager must maintain a valid driver’s license and have a reliable vehicle to fulfill all of the job’s functions. Must have proof of liability insurance.
