Senior Accounting Specialist major responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • General Ledger account invoice allocation.
  • Process trucking invoices in hauler database.
  • Data entry in accounting software.
  • Maintain insurance certificates for vendors.
  • Process all utility vendor invoices and analyze in Excel.
  • Import monthly payroll into accounting software.
  • Research and calculate general ledger journal entries.
  • Calculate intercompany transactions and adjustments.
  • Assist with monthly financial statement processes.
The ideal Senior Accounting Specialist candidate:
  • Must have a 2 year Associate Degree in Accounting.
  • Prefer 2 to 3 years of accounting experience.
  • Requires experience in GL and AP software packages and Microsoft Excel.
