FleetForce is hiring a Full-time Student Services Coordinator in Bradenton, FL

The Student Services Coordinator is responsible for administrative management with a primary focus on new student enrollment and will oversee and assist students with course registration and other requirements as needed. This role is integral in providing support to our students throughout their educational journey, ensuring a positive and effective learning environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a strong commitment to student success.

FleetForce is one of Florida's oldest and largest CDL Truck Driving schools and opening locations all over the state. FleetForce specializes in the development and implementation of customized CDL training programs for our corporate partners across America who want to aggressively expand. FleetForce is a licensed third-party CDL Test Administrator for the State of Florida, and we offer refresher courses for those looking to brush up on their driving skills.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Student Support and Advising: Provide guidance and support to students regarding academic progress, career goals, and personal development. Address student concerns and issues, offering solutions or referrals to appropriate resources.
  • Orientation and Onboarding: Ensure students receive onboarding emails and information for their precise location promptly that confirms they are informed about school policies, procedures, and available resources.
  • Academic Records Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records, including enrollment, attendance, grades, and certifications. Ensure compliance with institutional and regulatory requirements.
  • Communication: Serve as a primary point of contact for student inquiries, providing timely and accurate information through various communication channels (email, phone, in-person).
  • Collaboration: Work closely with faculty, staff, and administration to support student success initiatives and address any issues affecting student performance or well-being.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect and analyze data related to student services and outcomes, preparing reports for school leadership to inform decision-making and improvement efforts.
  • Compliance and Policies: Ensure all student services activities comply with institutional policies and state/federal regulations.
Job Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience in a student service role or in a related field.
  • Relevant certifications or training in student services or educational administration is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a student service role, preferably within a vocational or technical training setting is a plus.
  • Experience in the trucking industry or knowledge of trucking regulations and standards is beneficial.
  • Customer Service and good phone etiquette.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and student management systems.
  • Learning multiple software platforms is necessary
  • Strong Organizational skills, Time Management Skills, and ability to set Priorities.
  • Strong and professional communication, Interpersonal skills, and Attention to Detail
  • Problem-solving skills and proactive approach to student support.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must pass a background check and drug test.
  • Valid State Driver's License
  • Required to stand, walk, and sit.
  • Able to input, store, and output on a (computer) keyboard and other office equipment.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
  • The noise level in the work environment is high due to work being conducted in the office with other employees.
