Job Summary:
Develop and manage strategic accounts by fostering high-level executive relationships with large retailers and key accounts, leveraging exceptional strategic thinking and relationship-building skills. Identify, develop, and implement successful strategies to drive revenue growth and maximize customer satisfaction. Stay abreast of industry trends and customer needs to effectively communicate and innovate solutions, ensuring the growth and satisfaction of grower/retailer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Account Development:

Cultivate and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at large retailers to drive sales and expand market presence. Identify and pursue new potential strategic customers and relationships, leveraging market insights and industry knowledge to expand our customer base and revenue streams. Clearly articulate the value proposition of our products and services and highlight how they meet client needs.

Manage Key Branded Program Accounts Portfolio:

Oversee and nurture relationships with our key branded program accounts, ensuring their needs are met and opportunities for growth are identified and pursued. Proactively communicate with major clients on a regular basis, addressing their needs and providing timely updates on product offerings, promotions, and industry trends. Develop compelling sales presentations for brand owners, retailer teams, and other stakeholders, showcasing our products,
services, and value propositions effectively.

Relationship Management:

Serve as the primary point of contact for strategic accounts, building and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers. Anticipate and address customer concerns and proactively resolve issues to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and retention. Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering strategic insights and guidance to drive mutual success and long-term partnerships.

Revenue Growth:

Drive revenue growth through upselling, cross-selling, and identifying new business opportunities within
strategic accounts. Set and meet strategic account objectives in collaboration with the sales, marketing,
and executive teams. Monitor account performance and KPIs, analyzing data and trends to identify areas for improvement and optimization.

Market Intelligence:

Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify potential threats and opportunities for strategic accounts. Conduct market research and gather customer feedback to inform product development, pricing strategies, and go-to-market initiatives. Act as a Liaison: Collaborate with Sales and Marketing and product development teams to drive brand awareness, product innovation and initiatives to develop and promote our products and services to strategic accounts. Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams to deliver tailored solutions that address the unique needs and challenges of strategic accounts and ensure customer satisfaction. Participate in industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network with key stakeholders and
promote our brand and offerings.
Requirements:

Looking for a candidate that has strong connections developed in our Industry. Must have 10 years or more experience working with big Box Retailers. Proven experience in strategic account management or business development. Strong understanding of the retail industry, particularly in relation to large retailers. Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights. Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal teams. Proactive and innovative mindset with a focus on delivering customer satisfaction. Strong organizational and time management abilities. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint for sales presentations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in business administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field preferred.
Proven experience in strategic account management, business development, or sales, preferably in a B2B environment.
Strong understanding of sales and negotiation techniques, with the ability to effectively communicate value propositions and influence decision-making.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with
internal and external stakeholders. Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
10 years experience working with Big Box Retailers and already developed relationships with customers in our Business.
