Forlift Operator

Job Summary:
We are seeking Operators to join our team. As an Operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of equipment and machinery in a warehouse setting.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist with all shipping, receiving and inventory organization operations.
- Use forklifts, handcarts or pallet jacks to load, unload, move, stack and organize merchandise accordingly.
- Strategically store merchandise to maximize storage space within the warehouse. Organize stock in a way that optimizes inventory accounting while facilitating access for order fulfillment.
- Accurately place materials on shelves, racks, or other designated storage areas in an orderly manner.
- Place orders to be sent to customers.
- Review all orders to determine if they were selected correctly.
- Safely operate all necessary equipment in the work area.
- Accurately identify and count in-stock materials listed on the inventory list.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or problems to senior management.
- Inform warehouse manager of all activities/updates.

**Skills**:

- Experience with lift truck, forklift, order picker, and pallet jack operation
- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently
- Proficiency in operating heavy equipment
- Familiarity with warehouse management practices
- Basic math skills for inventory control
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

- Warehouse experience: 2 years (required)
