Let’s talk about the role: We are looking for a qualified Environmental Field Inspector to join our growing business. As an Environmental Field Inspector, you will work with a lead consultant to provide a comprehensive assessment of our client's properties by collecting property data on mobile devices and uploading to cloud-based software. During the inspection, you will perform environmental sampling to verify or dismiss the presence of indoor environmental pathogens such as mold, VOCs, mycotoxins, etc. Why is this role important to us? The Environmental Field Inspector will be the “boots on the ground” agent and the face of We Inspect. You will be a comforting presence and a beacon of hope for our customers. This is a remote position.

Travel will be required up to 90% of the time.

The ideal candidate will be located in the US and able to travel and participate in hybrid work schedule, with

travel from Tuesday-Friday

You Will… Travel to the homeowner or rental properties throughout the country to conduct inspections that meet the needs of the customer Collect property data on mobile devices and upload to cloud-based software using a defined process Collect environmental samples from properties, package and send to laboratories for further analysis, as needed Engage in continuous learning to be a leading industry expert and provide knowledgeable solutions for our customers You Have… Entrepreneurial spirit and ambition for rapid career progression Reliable transportation for onsite visits to customer’s homes Ability to travel 3-4 days a week with overnight stays required Bachelor's in Environmental Studies, Earth Sciences or a related field, a plus 2+ years experience in mold remediation, water restoration, lead/asbestos abatement, HVAC contracting or construction or comparable industry/role, a plus You are… A team player An exceptional writer and spoken communicator Highly organized & autonomous Comfortable and energized operating in a fast-moving organization Passionate about our mission and helping us build our vision Entrepreneurial & self-motivated Consultative with demonstrable experience Enthusiastic about learning and growing at We Inspect Intellectually curious and ambitious Travel Requirements 12-15 onsite inspections per month required Nationwide inspections are scheduled based on business needs Must be eligible to travel without restriction within the US Must have a valid license to drive rental vehicles Physical Demands Ability to lift, push and/or pull up to 50lbs frequently and up to 75lbs occasionally Ability to stoop, crawl and maneuver in small spaces such as under a house or in an attic Must wear required PPE during onsite inspections Compensation and Benefits: Salaried, Exempt position $50-60k annually DOL Incentive program Medical, Dental, Vision and 401k We Inspect will comply with federal and state mandates regarding COVID-19 vaccinations. We will require employees coming on-site to be vaccinated or in compliance with weekly testing requirements.
