Your Role
We are seeking a dedicated professional to support regional projects focused on hazardous waste and mine waste investigation and remediation.

This role involves providing project support for professional services related to waste cleanup and containment, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, conducting sampling and analysis of various materials, performing environmental monitoring, preparing detailed reports, and collaborating with clients and contractors.

The successful candidate will work alongside multidisciplinary teams on complex projects, utilizing advanced problem-solving, collaboration, and leadership skills.

This position requires a mix of office and fieldwork, including site investigations and groundwater monitoring throughout the year, with occasional oversight of construction activities during the summer months.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide consulting support on complex, multidisciplinary project teams.
- Conduct on-site environmental monitoring, sampling, and data collection.
- Assist in business development efforts, including client relations and project proposals.
- Maintain an active presence in local, regional, and national professional organizations.

Additional Duties
- Assist in completing Remedial Investigation / Feasibility Studies (RI/FS).
- Help prepare Sampling and Analysis Plans (SAPs) and Health and Safety Plans (HASPs).
- Support Phase II Environmental Site Assessments.
- Participate in environmental drilling investigations, creating soil boring logs and groundwater contour maps, and report writing.
- Collect groundwater samples and utilize field meters during sampling activities.
- Coordinate with laboratories for sample collection and analysis.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in geology, environmental science, hydrogeology, or civil/environmental engineering; a master's degree is advantageous.
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience.
- Proven experience in report writing and client interaction.
- Familiarity with sampling and analysis of various environmental media.
- Experience in site remediation and oversight of excavation work.
- Proficiency with field meters and groundwater sampling equipment.

Skills and Abilities
- Ability to collaborate and build teams across diverse technical disciplines.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Commitment to health and safety practices in fieldwork.
- Highly motivated self-starter.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Civil3D, or GIS is a plus.
