Status: Full Time Shift: M-F 8-5 Exempt: Yes Summary: The Digital Marketing Specialist helps create, plan, and implement North Oaks Health System's enterprise-wide digital marketing strategy - building the brand and generating inbound traffic through engaging, comprehensive, and up-to-date web content, images, and social media with the goal of generating consumer awareness, knowledge of services, and ultimately, patient acquisition and retention. The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for working cooperatively with the Business Development, Communications, Digital Media Specialist, and Creative Manager and other health system stakeholders to maintain creative brand standards across all platforms in support of the mission and goals of North Oaks Health System. The individual should have a solid understanding of web standards and best practices and proven experience with digital marketing platforms and strategies in addition to having a passion for social media and a flair for creating engaging copy and content. The Digital Marketing Strategist should be a hardworking and highly motivated self-starter with an aptitude for organization, prioritization, and communication. This individual will be accountable for digital campaign coordination, email marketing execution, social property management, and presentation of digital platform performance. Of particular importance, this individual will create and manage a digital production schedule and content calendar and will develop an audit calendar to ensure that web content and images remain up to date and compelling. This position reports to the Manager of Marketing, Communications, and Digital Strategies. Other information: • Bachelor's degree in related discipline, such as computer science, information technology, communications, marketing or a related field. • Two to three (2-3) years of digital and social media experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment. • Savvy communication skills with internal teams, clients, and outside partners/vendors. • Reliable, professional, assertive, and extremely organized with keen attention to detail. • Experience in using content management systems (i.e., WordPress, Drupal, etc.). • Working knowledge of all social media management platforms. • Experience using digital analytics and reporting tools is a plus. • Understanding of marketing automation tools. • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. • Demonstrated strong written, verbal communication, and presentation skills. • Aptitude for market research, analysis, and campaign evaluation with the ability to translate quantitative information into creative strategies. • Ability to plan and prioritize deliverables and resources working across projects, based on scope of work and project goals. • Excellent people and communication skills are a must. Ability to work collaboratively with clinical and clinical support staff. Responsibilities: Responsibilities: 1. Assists in the development and implementation of innovative creative strategies to support business development initiatives for digital media (including website and social media). 2. Collaborates with both the Manager and Director of Marketing, Communications & Digital Strategies and others to establish and maintain production standards for digital media. Works with vendors as necessary to implement standards. 3. Participates in the strategy, execution, analysis, and optimization of North Oaks' digital marketing programs and campaigns, coordinating online activities and social media to maximize campaign goals and objectives 4. Writes, manages, and publishes content for email, website, and social media platforms, ensuring consistency and accuracy of content. 5. Provides digital performance reporting and insightful analysis to drive greater audience engagement. 6. Designs online formats for existing health system information to be published via digital media and writes, manages, and publishes content for social media. 7. Monitors social networking sites and interacts with customers, moderating online conversations, and sparking discussion in a positive manner. 8. Works with the Creative Services Manager and other team members to develop digital pieces, including but not limited to graphics, photography, video, and audio assets. 9. Remains up to date with current and evolving trends in healthcare marketing and makes recommendations for inclusion in North Oaks' business development strategies. 10. Assists in the development and maintenance of the hospital's intranet (OakLink) homepage to support internal brand management and to ensure effective use. 11. Works with Human Resources, Education, and Physician Services to provide information on digital media to maintain brand standards and supports their social media strategies. 12. Manages multiple projects effectively and accurately while adhering to established deadlines. 13. Provides prompt, proficient, and professional assistance. 14. Liaises with digital marketing vendors as needed. 15. Assists with other department functions (i.e., event management and representation, developing meeting notes and follow-up, etc.). 16. Maintains knowledge of healthcare industry news and emerging digital media and social media trends. 17. Adheres to established health system and departmental policies and procedures. 18. Follows North Oaks Health System's compliance programs and all federal and state regulatory guidelines. 19. May be required to occasionally drive as part of job duties. 20.
