Our client—a rapidly growing, tech-forward international transportation company—is expanding its national sales organization and hiring its first Global Sales Executive in the Greater Chicago market. This is one of four strategic sales hires being made across key U.S. logistics hubs, and the growth path for this role is significant. About the RoleWe are seeking a sharp, strategic, and globally fluent logistics sales leader who thrives in a high-tech, high-performance environment. As a Global logistics Sales Executive, you’ll work with dynamic partners and clients across EMEA, APAC, the EU, Canada, Mexico, and the U.S., helping shape the company’s continued growth in one of the largest logistics markets in the world. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute strategic sales plans to grow new business and expand enterprise accountsManage full-cycle sales across air, ocean (FCL/LCL), cross-border, and customs brokerage servicesServe as a subject-matter expert on global trade, multimodal transportation, and NVOCC operationsBuild strong relationships with global partners and stakeholders across multiple regionsCollaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless operational executionRepresent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetingsTrack pipeline, performance, and forecasting through CRM and logistics platformsAct as a foundational member of a growing regional sales team—with potential for future leadership Required Experience & Skills 5–10+ years in International Freight Forwarding, NVOCC Sales, Multimodal Transport, or Trade Tech solutionsStrong working knowledge of global customs, import/export compliance, and end-to-end freight processesProven success exceeding revenue goals and growing key accountsExperience selling in a high-tech or digitized logistics environmentComfortable working with tools like JD Edwards, CargoWise, Salesforce, and modern logistics platformsExcellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skillsStrategic thinker with a hands-on, entrepreneurial approachBilingual strongly preferred (any language) Work LocationThis is a remote role, but candidates must reside in the Greater Chicago Area, defined as: Chicago and its suburbs13 counties across IL, IN, and WIKey counties include: Cook, DuPage, Kane, Lake, Will (IL), Lake & Porter (IN), and part of Kenosha (WI)Major areas include Naperville, Elgin, Evanston, and surrounding communities Compensation & Benefits $100K–$140K Base Salary Sales Commissions (uncapped) Vehicle Allowance Full Benefits Package – medical, dental, vision Life Insurance Paid Time Off SEND YOUR RESUME TO LINDA AT: linda.powell@gogpac.comAll qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, age, color, sex (including pregnancy), religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, military status, genetic information, or any other status protected by applicable laws or regulations.
