Reporting to the Farm Manager, the Crop Management Supervisor plans, organizes, coordinates, and directs the food safety and agronomic operations according to established standards. Skills: College Diploma or University Degree in Horticultural Production, Food Science, Agriculture, or equivalent experience. Registered as a Professional Agrologist with the British Columbia Institute of Agrologists or immediately eligible for full registration upon employment Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in agricultural production operations People management/Leadership experience. Experience with Temporary Foreign Worker Programs. Valid Class 5 driver’s license Intermediate knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) Proficiency in spoken and written English. Spanish is an asset. Strong planning, decision making and prioritizing abilities Excellent communication skills are required to build relationships with internal customers and procurement. Ability to problem-solve and exercise independence of judgment. Willingness to work flexible hours as required during high seasonal workloads
